About Me

After a successful career owning and managing health care businesses, I made a long-considered career change to being an adult mental health counselor in 2008, working with The Center for Family Development in Eugene, Oregon. I received an M.A. degree in Professional Counseling from Northwest Christian University with an emphasis on Motivational Interviewing, Transactional, and Cognitive-Behavioral approaches to change. I am also a certified LENS (Low Energy Neurofeedback System) practitioner by Ochs Labs, headed by psychologist Dr. Len Ochs. I integrate neurofeedback training into my clinical work, especially with clients who have a history of ADHD, past brain injury, trauma, and/or cognitive processing issues. LENS has helped me, personally, to heal from past head injuries.

I have done my own personal growth work over the years, which enhances my understanding of the change process. I believe that we each are the master's of our own lives, the expert, and honor the incredible human courage and will to create change in one's life. Let us collaborate...
